What happens to a winter art project in summer?

so yesterday's sunny 70 degree weather meant one thing- my attic studio hitting the high 80s.  To be honest, the weather has already been competing with painting- yard work, a new fence, gardening etc.  So things will be slowing down for the summer, i'll try to manage at least one a month though.

When good dogs go bad

while i was painting the second painting, my smooth collie joined me, as he often does.  i was in the zone and kept hearing weird noises behind me.  i look around and the all red "summer" is covered in lick marks and this was staring at me.  luckily i took the pic of the painting below before he licked- i sort of fixed it but it will never be the same.  it has collie marks now.
